Mostar
Mostar is a city in Bosnia and Herzegovina and it is the cultural center of Hercegovina. It was named after the bridge guards (mostari). The city is famous for it's bridge - Stari most.
It is the fifth largest city in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The population is appx 70,000.
Mostar is located in the south of BiH. The river of Neretva separates the town into the East and the West Mostar. The most famous hills around Mostar are Hum, Fortica and Brkanovo brdo. The biggest mountains are Velez and Prenj. As for the climate, it is basically mediteranean, but with cold winters. Mostar is often the warmest city in BiH.
